History

North Sydney Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre was established in 1989 as a visionary approach to the care of sports injury. It brought Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Physicians, Physiotherapists and Radiologists together under one roof to provide multidisciplinary care.

When the practice outgrew its original home in Crows Nest, the organisation evolved to include multiple sites. North Sydney Sports Medicine Clinic relocated to St Leonards in 2012 and is now home to Sport and Exercise Medicine Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Rheumatologists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Exercise Physiologists and Podiatrists. It continues to have strong links with its Orthopaedic colleagues, now based at the Mater Clinic, as well as Castlereagh Imaging and Northern Sports Physiotherapy, who are independent practices co-located at 60 Pacific Highway.
