Dr. Sophie Armstrong is a Sport and Exercise Physician, completing her specialist training with the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians. Sophie also has a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Bath University, UK.

Sophie provides specialist Sport and Exercise Medicine care for all musculoskeletal related issues, acute and chronic, for all ages and levels of sporting participation. Keeping patients active and healthy is fundamental to Sophie’s management; this encompasses a collaborative and patient centered approach. Patients can expect a sound overview and understanding of their condition with an appropriate strategy moving forward.

Sophie has an interest and expertise in all things Netball being Netball Australia’s Chief Medical Officer, Head Doctor to the Australian Netball Diamonds, and Head Doctor to Giants Netball. Sophie will also be part of the Australian Medical Team at the upcoming Commonwealth Games in 2018.

Sophie continues to be a medical provider for the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) performing medical screenings for their professional and elite sponsored athletes; previous experience includes care to a number of elite teams, clubs and competitions across a variety of sports.
