Dr Jessica Watson

(BMedSci, MBBS, FRACGP, DipChild Health, Cert Sexual Health)

Jessica is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Registrar. She studied medicine at the University of Sydney and completed her GP training with the Royal Australian College of General Physicians in 2012. She worked in the Blue Mountains as a GP before moving to New Zealand for Sports and Exercise medicine training for 5 years.

Jessica has special interests in dance medicine and caring for other aesthetic athletes, such as gymnasts. She also has an interest in indigenous healthcare, and helping all individuals, including those with chronic health conditions maintain healthy, active lifestyles.

In New Zealand, Jessica coached recreational and junior competitive rhythmic gymnasts while gaining coaching qualifications with Gymnastics New Zealand. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys taking ballet classes and heading to the local beaches with her family.
